Review by hotel critic
Tucked away along the breathtaking Scottish coastline, the Golf View Hotel & Macintosh Restaurant was a delightful retreat for a recent getaway. From the moment we arrived, the stellar hospitality made us feel right at home, setting the tone for what would become a memorable experience. Our sea view room was not just spacious but also spotlessly clean-a must for any traveler-complete with a comfortable bed that promised a restful night after our explorations. Dinner was a true highlight, offering a superb menu with something for everyone. I indulged in local seafood that was as fresh as it gets, paired perfectly with a selection of tantalizing daily specials. To top it off, the delightful dessert options like Sticky Toffee Pudding were simply irresistible and put my diet plans on hold-just for a moment, of course! The outdoor terrace was an exceptional touch, where we could soak in views toward Covesea Lighthouse while enjoying our drinks in a socially spaced dining area. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventuring around Lossiemouth or exploring the stunning Moray Firth. I can definitely see myself returning here; a blend of comfort, great food, and warm service makes it a top pick for anyone visiting this gorgeous part of Scotland. Plus, I already know the next trip will be with good friends-just imagine the fun!
